Job description

Purpose and Scope: Determine and manage support requirements including facilities, personnel, safety, and maintenance. Direct and coordinate program and employee activities designed to ensure effective and economic support. Analyze and evaluate design concepts to determine if concepts satisfy support requirements and study the relative supportability of alternative concepts. Position may direct research or technical studies to support logistic functions. Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or demonstrated equivalent, and at least five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience is required. Prior supervisory experience desired. Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of MS Office and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Authority: Determine and direct logistic support sequences and time phasing and anticipate logistic problems related to operational areas, environmental and human factors; determine contingency requirements and appropriate solutions.
