Description The mission of Milestone Recovery is to provide compassionate care and services to empower individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental illnesses and homelessness to attain an enhanced quality of life regardless of ability to pay. Position Summary: The Senior Accountant supports the financial health of a nonprofit behavioral health organization, with special emphasis on grant management, compliance, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial processes, and plays a key role in managing grant funds, supporting audits, and providing actionable analysis to leadership. Onsite Position : Though we have flexibility to offer some remote work, this role is primarily an onsite position at our India St. Portland, ME office.
