Overview: Job Description Summary: Supports NCH Sports Medicine services for patients at schools, colleges/universities, and community partners. Provides athletic training services in collaboration with physicians to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult populations, including injury prevention programming, injury evaluation and management, rehabilitation, and coordination of care, in addition to contributing to hospital-based programming. Serves as an ambassador of Nationwide Children's Hospital, fostering relationships with school and community partners, patients, and their families while promoting health and wellness. Job Description: Essential Functions: - Supports the delivery of high-quality patient care in community and school settings, by performing age-appropriate evaluations, triage, treatments, and return to play decisions for pediatric and adolescent patients, along with event coverage and emergency planning. - Completes timely and accurate documentation of injuries, treatments, and encounters in the electronic medical record in accordance with NCH and partner school policies.
