Overview: **** Defence IPC620 Electrical Inspector **** Seeking an Electrical Inspector full-time (37.5 hours per week) for a 3-month+ project near Milton Keynes, England. Flexible working options, including 4 day week. Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to be the first line of defence against electrical defects in our customers' production environment. Using a combination of hands-on inspection, electrical testing, and data-driven analysis, the role verifies that all wiring, components, and subassemblies meet the company’s engineering specifications, code requirements, and customer obligations. The Inspector works independently, but collaborates closely with Design, Production, and Reliability teams to drive continuous improvement, close non-conformances, and maintain a culture of safety and quality. Job Responsibility: Electrical Inspection & Testing – Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of wire harnesses, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, connectors, and electrical enclosures using calipers, multimeters, insulation resistance testers, continuity mats, and software-assisted tools.
