General Summary The Senior Director-Patient Care Services is an executive nurse leader who works in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide leadership and strategic direction for the practice of nursing and nursing operations within WellSpan York Hospital (WYH). This position plays a pivotal role as a transformational leader, supporting the CNO in achieving WYH Nursing Strategic Plan and WellSpan Health’s mission, vision, and values. The Senior Director works with the CNO to facilitate an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of patient care for inpatient services, behavioral health services, and various ambulatory services. Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating standards and practices for patient care, and the delivery of care and services and works closely with physician and system leaders to enhance the delivery, quality, and efficiency of patient care.
