Pharmacy Intern Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern in #046 West Fargo, North Dakota to provide exposure in all aspects of the community pharmacy setting and to let them practice as many pharmacist duties as they are prepared to handle (per State Board requirements). A few of the primary responsibilities include: - Providing excellent professional service to customers to build loyalty and repeat business. - Helping prepare hard copy insurance claims when necessary. - Obtaining and documenting approval for refill prescriptions from physicians to ensure proper authorization is recorded on all prescriptions. - With experience; counseling patients on their medications. Works with the Pharmacist Preceptor to learn all functions of the Pharmacist's job. - Providing and promoting immunizations in store and with local employers, community centers, and government officials. - Answering patient questions in the OTC aisles and becoming familiar with products offered there. - Supporting full completion of Medication Therapy Management activities.
