We are growing our team because of the need for more social workers in our Off-Campus Emergency Departments. As an ED social worker at MultiCare, the priority work includes comprehensive mental health evaluations, SBIRTs, collaborating with DCRs and psychiatric facilities, addressing abuse, neglect concerns, and provided resources and referrals to a wide range of services. We need social workers who are comfortable with traumatic patient situations, providing emotional support to patients and families, have a background in mental health and crisis interventions.
