Department: 34309 Atrium Health Cabarrus - Epilepsy: 4CSB Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: PRN is as needed Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95 Essential Functions: Performs routine and complex electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, nerve conduction studies (NCV), evoked potential (EP) and others, depending on specialty area training. Demonstrates knowledge of the equipment operator's manual and calibration procedures. Identifies and corrects basic equipment issues when they occur. Performs Neurodiagnostic procedures using appropriate test strategy, electrode montage parameters, and calibration. Obtains all relevant information from the patient's medical record history and progress notes, and transfers this to the technologist's report. Adopts methods and instrumentation to obtain optimal results, based on medical history, clinical observations, and diagnostic test findings. Adheres to the standards of practice for test recordings, as outlined by ABRET. Maintains complete and accurate record keeping, including history forms and archived records of clipped data.
