STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital DEPARTMENT: Cath Lab SCHEDULE: Per Diem (M-F, Day/Evening); No weekends, No nights and No weekends . SUMMARY: As a Cardiovascular Radiologic Tech, you assist radiologists with radiographic procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care . Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service General Maintenance . Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basis Documentation . Ensure concise and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year college certificate or equivalent: NYS license in Radiologic Technology: ARRT (R): PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification through ARRT Preferred 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
