Sales and Events Manager Classification: Exempt. Salary: salary plus commission of 1% on F&B only. No gratuities. Reports to: General Manager and Director of Sales JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary/Objective: The primary responsibility of the Sales and event manager is to oversee all aspects of the catering and rental sales process. This responsibility encompasses every aspect with regards to selling, planning, communicating and executing each account. Essential Functions: SALES: - Excellent relationship-building and negotiating skills, exceptional follow-through, strong organizational skills and strong time-management skills are required. - Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; soliciting new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, networking, and written communication; preparing correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. - Possess detailed knowledge of our menus, services and philosophies.
