Job Description The New York City Department of Investigation (“DOI”) is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country; its mission is to combat municipal corruption. DOI serves the people of New York City by acting as an independent and nonpartisan watchdog for New York City government, City agencies, and City employees, vendors with City contracts, individuals and entities that receive City funds. DOI seeks an experienced leader to oversee the Law Enforcement Technology (LET) Technical Services Unit (TSU). Reporting directly to the Assistant Commissioner of LET, you will supervise and support a team that provides technical assistance and operational support to investigative units. Responsibilities include deploying, operating, and maintaining specialized surveillance and monitoring equipment, and assisting with lawful electronic surveillance operations in strict compliance with court orders and legal requirements.
