Position Function: The Neurosurgery/Neurology (NNS) Internship at the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine consists of advanced clinical training in medical and surgical aspects of canine and feline neurology. There will be opportunities for the intern to consult on neurologic cases in small animals, large animals and occasionally wildlife and exotic species. The internship will consist of a 80% commitment to the NNS and 10 - 20% to the small animal emergency/critical care service (daytime only 3 of 4 weekends with the previous Friday off). For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.
