Overview J PW Structural Contracting located in Syracuse, NY is currently seeking a Rigger to join their team! Assemble, disassemble and move heavy equipment & bulky objects by selecting and using the various rigging hardware, such as ropes, slings, shackles, clamps, chain falls, and come-a-longs in a correct and safe manner. Responsibilities: Skill Requirements: - Experience with heavy equipment and material moving - In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment - Excellent spatial awareness - Good communication skills - OSHA 10 - 3+ years working as a rigger Physical Requirements: - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random testing during course of employment. - Possess the coordination, physical strength, and agility to complete required tasks within the allotted time frame. - Able to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with body, arms and/or legs without restriction. - Acceptable visual acuity, either corrected or uncorrected. - Able to work at heights and in extreme temperatures and moderately inclement weather Remote Position: No Min Compensation: USD $25.00/Hr.
