Job Title: Engineer, Sr Lead Transmission Work Place Flexibility: Onsite: Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC: Job Summary/Purpose: This position acts in a lead capacity within design basis and serves as a system wide technical expert for the transmission protection equipment. While not a formal supervisor, the role is responsible for broad leadership, coordination, and review of technical matters. This position works in conjunction with other engineering disciplines and is responsible for engaging with various system functions such as design, construction, asset planning, asset management, design and construction standards. Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Plan and conduct independent engineering work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for the transmission protection equipment. - Devise new approaches to solving problem. - Direct and mentor junior staff and oversee the engineering work on multiple projects such as development of protection standards and specifications, engineering analysis, evaluation of new technologies, assessing equipment failures, monitoring and addressing manufacturer p...
