Amentum is seeking a Munitions Handler to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Munitions Handler assists with a variety of warehousing and demilitarization duties involving stock movement, inventory, and disassembly/destruction of munitions within controlled environments. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. ​ Typical Responsibilities Include: Performs warehousing duties involving movement of ordnance items or components into/out of storage facilities, physical inventory, storage arrangement, accessibility, inspect, loading, and packaging. Processes may be manual, technical, and mechanically assisted within the storage, receipt, shipment, inspection, of explosive ordnance items or components. Perform destruction and demilitarization of ammunition and explosive components. Operate automated systems within a munitions demilitarization process. Follow all pertinent local, state, and federal compliance documents and procedures.
