Logistics Administrator ( Job Number: 339947 ) Description This position is responsible and accountable for all import, export and Customs transactions. The Import-Export-Customs (IEC) Administrator is responsible for the timely and cost-effective transport of spare parts primarily from Bell Textron Inc., Able Engineering and Bell Piney Flats to Bell Textron Supply Center (BTSC) and the same from the BTSC to the ultimate customer. A free warehouse is maintained to accommodate the goods that are in free circulation within the European Union. Incumbents in the IEC department report to the Logistics Manager and maintain a solid administration of import, stocking and export transactions by means of various automated systems. Compliance to Customs permits, internal procedures and business standards is evident. This position is responsible for assuring proper Customs documentation for import and export shipments. Improper documentation will result in Customs fines, so consequent accuracy is most important.
