Job description
As the Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for efficiently managing the shipping and receiving processes within the plant. This role involves preparing outbound shipments, receiving and inspecting incoming goods ensuring that records are accurately maintained in the process. To excel in this role, you will possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Location: 141 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON Dedicated Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday Job Duties: - Shipping orders: prepare and pack orders for shipment, create shipping labels and documentation, such as bills of lading and coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups - Receiving shipments; unload trucks and deliveries, inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, record and update inventory levels and sort / stock receivables. - Load, unload, move and pack products and materials by hand or with material handling equipment (forklift, walkies, pump cart, cranes) - Ensures that all products are moved and stored in a safe manner. - Assist in counting and organizing product when required. - Professionally responds to calls / emails from...
