This position is ECB status – requires a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department; limited benefit offerings. Variable: Shift: Variable. Applicants must be available for all shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and on call. Job Summary: Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Minimum Education: Completion of an accredited Technical Ultrasound Program. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S) (ARRT). Work Experience: 6 months related experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform basic ultrasound echo and/or peripheral vascular studies. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Accurately performs a variety of technical procedures efficiently utilizing ultrasonic machinery for the diagnosis of disease.
