JOB SUMMARY: The Part-Time Machine Operator I, sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks. - Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. - Operate various types of machines to produce parts conforming to print requirements, may include basic program adjustments to meet quality and schedule requirements - Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. - Can simultaneously operate two or more machines when practical and necessary. - Performs basic daily maintenance or checks for machines.
