Summary: The Food & Beverage Specialist, under the general supervision of the Operations Coordinator, to assist in the daily operation and oversight of the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center’s F&B Department. This role supports concessions, bars, and catering logistics while ensuring inventory control, kitchen compliance, and equipment functionality. Collaborating with management and caterers, the Specialist ensures event readiness, high service standards, and operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists the Operations Coordinator with tracking and maintaining records of approved third-party vendors and caterers. - Checks third-party caterers into and out of the kitchen as required, ensuring compliance with facility policies and kitchen procedures. - Conducts kitchen inspections prior to events and post-event to ensure cleanliness, compliance, and proper equipment condition. - Oversees stocking and organization of all perishable, non-perishable, beverage, and paper goods for concession stands and bars. - Assists with conducting inventory counts before and after events and maintains accurate inve...
