Duties and Responsibilities of an Attending Neurologist - Perform all other duties as assigned by Chief of Neurology, Chairman of Medicine. - Maintain ABMS recognized Board Certification in Neurology or one of its subspecialties. - Develop a specific area of clinical interest within the Neuroscience Service Line. Support Chief of service with: · Interface with administration on staffing and capital requirements that must be available to properly run an efficient service. · Develop CQI and PI plans with staff, review outcomes and implement corrective action plans. · Assist in marketing development and outreach efforts to hospital and community physicians. · Present Grand Rounds or other similar lectures. · Attend meetings as required. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief, Neurology and Chairman of Medicine. Duties and Responsibilities of Attending Physician: Clinical - Serve as consulting neurologist on unassigned and private patients (initial consult and follow-up on the medical floor, Neuro/Stroke Unit, ICU). - Share general neurology call coverage (approximately 1:4) - Precept Neurology clinic (1 morning/week) (DePaul Center) - Collaborate with designated Advance Pract...
