Job description

The Vehicle Process Engineering GA Conveyor and Facilities Specialist will lead projects in design and installation of conveyors / facilities and equipment for new model launches in North America. The role of this Specialist will develop project documents to support automotive assembly programs, drive continuous improvement to standards, lead conveyor designs and facility installations while meeting the cost and timing requirements of the program. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: The GA Conveyor and Facilities Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of VPE standards and specifications focused on: Launch: - Develop and maintain standards for conveyors - Develop standards & unit content matrix for facilities and Productionization equipment - Demo and installation of existing program equipment - Author project documents to include scopes of work and drawings for competitive bid, as well as documents for project management and project execution - Vehicle 3D Carrier design, fabrication, and performance testing - Assembly Station layout and design to optimize assembly operator’s work area - Ensure systems meet required cycle times - Elimi...
